Omega Seamaster PloProf 600 166.077
The nickname “Ploprof” comes from the French term Plongeur Professionnel, meaning “professional diver.” After the success of the Seamaster 300, Omega, at the request of Comex, aimed to create an even more reliable and waterproof watch. The Seamaster 600 (waterproof up to 600m) was introduced in 1970, four years after production began. It was in production for nine years, but due to its high price at the time—twice that of a Rolex Submariner—it was primarily chosen by top professional divers.
The Ploprof we have here boasts truly stunning patina. Even more special is that it recently underwent a major service by Omega. Unfortunately, the receipt is missing, but all replaced parts are still included—see photos!
