Panerai Luminor Base Pam 00002
The first Luminor Base reference introduced under Vendôme ownership in 1997 represents the essence of Panerai design in its purest form. The Luminor Base is the most minimalistic and stripped-down model in the Luminor lineup. Its hallmark is the iconic black dial, featuring bold luminous markers and the signature 3, 6, 9, and 12 numerals, complemented by only hour and minute hands.
This clean and functional aesthetic has become so emblematic that a mere glance at the markers and numerals immediately identifies it as a Panerai. This timeless design perfectly captures the brand’s legacy of rugged elegance and military-inspired precision.
The Panerai PAM 00002 features the manually wound Panerai caliber OP I, a movement derived from the reliable ETA 6497 hand-wound caliber. This caliber was used by Panerai between 1997 and 2001.
The watch is fitted with a new leather strap, and of course, you’ll also receive the original strap with its original buckle!
