This model’s design takes inspiration from Seiko’s original 1968 release, upgraded with modern refinements. It features the high-grade 8L35 mechanical caliber, specially crafted for dive watches. Comprising 192 parts, the movement is precision-machined, hand-assembled, and tuned by skilled artisans at the Shizukuishi watch studio in Morioka, northern Japan.
This Seiko received a brand-new case and bezel during its service in early 2024 to ensure full water resistance. Naturally, the original case and bezel are included as well. The service receipts are visible in the photos, making this watch truly ready to go!
